Tinsley Iselin, PA-C, Physician Assistant

Tinsley Iselin grew up in the small town of Camden, S.C. She spent her summers and holidays with her grandparents and extended family here in Charleston. She grew up loving the great outdoors, spending most of her summers hiking and at summer camp outside of Asheville, NC. She played tennis and soccer throughout her younger years and still picks up the racquet to play with friends.
 

Tinsley received her B.S. in Biology at Bates College in Maine before attending PA School at MUSC. Following her graduation from MUSC in 2012, Tinsley worked for MedStar Georgetown Orthopaedics in the DC metro area for over 3 years. She worked with patients from adolescents to geriatrics with orthopedic ailments of all shapes and sizes. Her focus was large joint injections and nonsurgical intervention.  After marrying her husband, Dakota, in 2015, they moved back to Charleston to start their family. Tinsley worked at Health First Urgent Care for over 6 years before joining our team. This has given her an extensive background in both primary care and urgent care as well as continuing her orthopedic skills.
 

On the weekends, Tinsley enjoys seeing live music and spending time with her husband and twin boys outside. They love to travel, especially when it involves hiking or spending time exploring new landscapes. She also enjoys quality time with their Australian shepherd, Ghost.
